The climate was full of contrast with a cold wet winter and a rather warm spring that developed vegetation growth. July was superb, August cooler, September and October very sunny except for the stormy episode mid-September. 2006 is considered as the winegrowers vintage which meant that careful attention was needed to produce healthy and ripe grapes. Finally, the vintage is a classic one offering fine, dense and deep wines with nice fresh aromas.Wonderful crimson colour. Nose: powerful, aromatic and complex, dominated by aromas of fresh fruit (redcurrants, blackberries and black cherries). A fresh wine with bite, with powerful aromas on the palate (red fruit), well-integrated tannins and a long aromatic and spicy finish. A wine to be tasted with pleasure.
